Ronald Hall Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Hall

May 31, 1947 - Jun 30, 2023

Port Clinton

Ronald "Ronnie" Hall, 76, of Port Clinton, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at Magruder Hospital.

He was born May 31, 1947, in Kentucky. Ronnie graduated from Milan High school and went to college at Wabash, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He was employed as Editor in Chief for Moose River Publishing.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, gardening, and riding his bicycle around town. He was married to Vicky Ann Hall, the love of his life for 49 years. He truly enjoyed life to the fullest through simple pleasures like chatting with close friends and family. Ronnie had an uncanny ability to challenge you on trivia and history. He loved his granddaughters, Stella and Roxy. He would take them to Cedar Point throughout the summer, from where they have many great memories. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.

Ronnie is survived by his sisters, Joyce Whitaker and Patty Hall Squire; son, Jason Hall of Marblehead; daughter, Amy DePriest of Canal Winchester; granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

At Ronnie's request, cremation will take place. Friends will be notified of a celebration of life later this summer or early fall at a location in Port Clinton, to be determined by the family.

Ron was a fantastic colleague. We worked together on Landscape Management, and his focus and writing style were something to behold. Ron was always cool, calm and collected, taking each day in stride, then off he´d go back home to Vickie and the water. They were great hosts for our annual fishing expeditions. There were many laughs amid the nonsense we all had to put up with from time to time. Jerry notified me in August and I am sorry this is late. My condolences to Jason, Amy, Stella and Roxy.
