Ron married Janet Cook in 2000 and they were together until Janet passed away in 2005. Ron eventually moved to the Cleveland area where he enjoyed meeting regularly with his Breakfast Club, going fishing, and eating at his favorite Italian restaurant, Aldo's. He moved to Coralville, Iowa, in July, 2023, to be near family.

Sincere sympathy on the loss of Ron Rublaitus. I worked as a clerk at the Medina office at AT&T. Ron was a Supervisor at Castalia and his Manager was in Medina. Ron was always kind and pleasant, not always in the best of circumstances. He was a good man and clearly cared about his family; i am sure he will be missed.
