Ronald S. "Steve" Titus, 73, of Port Clinton and formerly of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born July 10, 1951, in Fostoria to Earl and Eileen (Taylor) Titus. Steve married Kathleen Wangler on July 27, 1974, and she survives him.
Steve retired in 2011 after a career as a cable technician with Buckeye Cable in Toledo. Following his retirement, he worked as a crew member for 11 years with The Jet Express. He recently joined the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. An avid sun worshiper, Steve had a deep love for being around water, a passion he developed since childhood summers at the lake. He was also a devoted fan of his dog, Indie, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
In addition to his wife, Kathy, Steve is survived by his children, Sarah (Corbin) Daeger of Toledo, Emily (Paul) Brose of Fostoria, and Jake (Bre) Titus of Castalia; grandchildren, Grace (Rob) Pina, Ella Brose, and Sophia Brose; and his brother, Tom (Lynnette) Titus of Waterville.
A visitation will be from 12-4 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bistro 163, 1848 E. Perry St., Port Clinton, OH 43452, or Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
