Ryan O. Hollingshed Sr., 50, Sandusky, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2025, at his residence, unexpectedly.
He was born March 11, 1975, in Sandusky, to his father, Roy C. Hollingshed and mother, Leona Hollingshed Butler.
Ryan was a loving, caring, and protective man who deeply cherished his family. Known as a true jack-of-all-trades, he enjoyed working with his hands and took great pride in his ability to fix or build just about anything. In his free time, Ryan loved fishing, shooting pool, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Leona Hollingshed Butler; stepfather, John Butler Sr.; sisters, Glenda Childs, Vanessa Farris, and Dawn Hollingshed; stepbrothers, John Butler Jr. and Donnell Butler; stepsister, Annette (Paul) Curley; his beloved children, Asea, Ryan Jr., Elijah, Adryaan, Xavier Hollingshed and Diamone Wilson; and his grandchildren, Rya and Dustin.
Ryan is now reunited in eternal rest with his loving and caring father, Roy C. Hollingshed.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon Monday, December 22, 2025, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 224 Dixie Ave., Sandusky. Ryan's love, strength, and protective spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
