Scott E. Blair, 63, residing in Huron, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a long battle with cancer.

Scott was born July 7, 1960, in Sandusky, to DeLos and Dorothy (Senne) Blair.

He was employed at both RB's Services in Sandusky and Freudenberg in Milan. Scott's passion was working with his Aunt Mary for Lake Waters Pottery. Together, they attendant many art shows and festivals. Scott won many awards for his work. Scott was a member of Vermillion Art Guild and the Firelands area art League. He enjoyed pottery, reading, nature, outdoors, his garden, playing the card game Cribbage, and crossword puzzles. Scott had a wonderful dry sense of humor.

Scott is survived by his aunts, Mary Waters of Huron and Barbara Gentner of Sandusky; sister, Susan Ashley of Sandusky; brother, Thomas (Tina) Blair of Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Craig Blair and Jeffrey Blair.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date.

Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sandusky, is assisting family with arrangements.
