Selena "Sally" Twitchell, 87, of Norwalk, passed away on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Sally was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Loren and Eloise (Knowlton) Morton.

Sally was a Norwalk High School graduate with the class of 1952. She was a long-time member of Red Hat Society, as well as Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Selena was a cutting room clerk for Norwalk Furniture, retiring after 25 years, and also was a realtor. Sally was creatively gifted, and enjoyed making jewelry, woodworking, and sewing among other crafts. She shared her talent with others by teaching jewelry classes at Norwalk Senior Center. Sally also enjoyed being socially active and had many close friends.

Sally is survived by her children, Scott Twitchell of Norwalk, Julie Eungard of Norwalk, Todd Twitchell of Monroeville, and Stacey (Chris) Brown of Norwalk; grandchildren, Shauna, Michael, Liz, Caleb, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Shane, Ethan, Zak, Aurora, and Adrien; and stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Matt, and Paige.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her former husband, Jonas William Twitchell in 2002.

Sally's memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk.
