Shirley J. (Martin) Wiley, 90, residing in Milan, passed away Monday evening, March 13, 2023, at her home after a brief illness.

Shirley was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Ashland, to the late George G. and Gladys P. (Bone) Martin.

Shirley was raised at Flat Rock Children's Home which influenced her throughout her life. She retired from Firelands Regional Medical Center on her 80th birthday after more than 35 years at South Campus working in housekeeping. Shirley enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, baking, and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she treasured time with her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Amy Jensen of Milan and Linda (Larry) Widman of Fremont; son, Randy (Linda) Bilger of Bellevue; eight grandchildren, Elrik, Tessa, Lea, Rita, Angela, Larry Jr., Elizabeth, and Stephanie; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Loren and George Martin, both of Ashland, and Robert (Joyce) Martin of Belfair, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia E. Zellner; and brother, Dwayne Martin.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, until the time of Shirley's memorial services at 11 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S. Main St., Milan, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.
