Stan McPeek, 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, August 16, 2025. He was born December 12, 1950, in Sandusky, to Homer and Audrey (Jenkins) McPeek. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1969 and retired from General Motors after working at their Sandusky Plant and Spring Hill, Tennessee, Saturn Plant.

Stan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, especially on Lake Erie with his brother-in-law, Bob Van Fleet, and their mutual tribe of die-hard fishing buddies. He enjoyed hunting and nature, frequently traveling to West Virginia to spend time with extended family there. He was an avid Beagle man, attending field trials throughout Ohio. He was a master mason, PWP at Bellevue Eagles No. 490, was a member of Bellevue VFW No. 1238, and the Clyde Moose No. 393.

Stan is survived by his wife, Robbie (Van Fleet), whom he married October 2, 1971; son, Daniel (Kelly) McPeek of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; grandsons, Malcolm and Michael of Minnesota; brother, G. Michael (Michaele) McPeek of Norwalk; sister, Jill (Kevin) Buckner of Bellevue; as well as multiple much-loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends.

In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Bellevue Eagles No. 490, 215 E Main St, Bellevue, to accommodate Stan's large circle of ROWDY friends, who like Stan himself have NEVER settled down, and whom he loved like family, each and every one.
