Sue Ann Dress, 70, of Marblehead, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 24, 1952, in Sandusky, the daughter of Russell and Patricia (Sprau) Koan. She married Larry Dress Sr. on Sept. 18, 1976 and he survives. Sue was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, camping, and wintering in Kissimmee, Florida. She was previously a dispatcher for Lakeside Vol. Fire Department.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Melissa (Billy) Minton of Clyde; stepdaughter, Danna McClanahan of Oak Harbor; grandson, Christopher McClanahan; stepgrandchildren, April Minton, Tammy Minton, and Brayden Minton; sister, Dawn (Glenn) McCoy of Bristol, Virginia; and brother, Russell Koan of California.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Lee Dress Jr.; and parents.
Sue's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd., Lakeside-Marblehead. The Rev. Rick Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Danbury Township.
Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio, 43452.
