Susan Marie Penman, 70, of Clyde, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home.
She was born Sept. 15, 1953, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of William and Olive (Dressel) Penman.
Susan was a graduate of Clyde High School. She continued her education at Terra Technical College in Fremont and graduated with an early childhood degree.
Through the years, she babysat many children. At one time, she was employed at Revere in Clyde. Her last employment was at Clyde McDonalds.
Susan is survived by her sister, Ruth (Larry) Gardner of Bellevue; nephews, James (Paula) Gardner of Kendallville, Indiana, and Michael (Teresa) Gardner of Bellevue; niece, Natalie Gardner-Kraus of New Washington; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, until the time of Susan's funeral at 11 a.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
