Suzanne Bowser Obituary

Suzanne M. Bowser

Apr 19, 1947 - Aug 25, 2023

Huron Twp, Ohio

Suzanne M. Bowser, 76, of Huron Twp, passed away suddenly while in Odense, Denmark with her daughter. They were there to hike in France and visit friends and relatives in neighboring countries. The highlight of the trip was to meet their newest grandson and great-grandson who lives in Denmark, but it was not meant to be.

Suzanne was born April 19, 1947 to the late Peter and Alma (Gerner) Guba of Marblehead, Ohio. She graduated from Danbury High School in 1965 and attended BGSU, where she met the love of her life, Les Bowser from Berlin Heights. They were married July 1, 1967.

Suzanne was an extraordinary seamstress, and loved knitting, scrap booking, hiking and traveling. Above all, she was full of love for her family and excelled in making friendships near and far.

Survived by her husband of 56 years Les; her son Jeff (Tracy) of Alliance, OH; daughter Dana Arabelle (Rich) Higgins of Canton, GA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her brother Robert (Elaine) of Flagler Beach, FL and sister Sandra Guba of Sandusky.

Suzanne's wishes were to be cremated and private graveside services for the immediate family. Any memorial donations will be given to the James McBride Arboretum, Bogart Road, Huron for beautification. Suzanne and Les loved hiking and spending time there almost daily.
