Tami J. (Mullen) Hammond, 61, of Milan, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Nov. 4, 1962, in Tonawanda, New York, to Hank and Jean Mullen.

Tami was a registered nurse, working most recently at The Meadows at Osborn Park. She was a huge Cleveland sports and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She loved interior decorating and took great pride in her home. Her "grand nuggets" were the light of her life. She loved spending time with them the most.

Tami is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Roch Sr.; children, Rochelle Hammond of Milan, Ryan (Victoria) Hammond of Berlin Heights, and Renae Hammond of Milan; grandchildren, Adelaide Hammond, Theo Gillespie, Ivan Burris, John, Eli, Alice Hammond, and Carina Shone; mother, Jean Mullen of Norwalk; sister, Teri Grunenwald of Marysville; brother, Todd Mullen of Huron; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Nicholas, and Victoria Grunenwald, and Bryce and Rylie Mullen; and many other family and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roch Jr.; grandson, Roch; father, Hank Mullen; and sister-in-law, Diane Mullen.

Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, and 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, until the time of Tami's funeral at 1 p.m., all at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
