Thomas M. Ferrell, 93, Sandusky, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, in Providence Care Center.

He was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Delbarton, West Virginia, to the late Columbus and Cora (Lawson) Ferrell. Tom was a veteran of U.S. Army.

He retired from Ohio Edison Co. after 30 years.

Tom was a member of First Baptist Church, life member of American Legion Post 83, Sandusky, Amvets Post 17, Sandusky, Sandusky Eagles #444, where he was past president, and he also enjoyed golf and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Anita (Scott) Ferrell; children, John (Brenda) Ferrell of Oregon, Ohio, Scotty (Debora) Ferrell of Covington, Lousiana, and Judith Ferrell Knight of Fairport Harbor; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Thomas Ferrell; brothers, Sidney, Adam, Curtis, and John Benjamin; sisters, Columbia Kirk, Sada Williams, and Martha Alice Ferrell.

At his request, cremation will take place and services will be at a later date.
