Thomas A. Hill, 66, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 12, 2022, at home following a lengthy illness.

Tom was born Oct. 12, 1956, to the late Arthur and Ann (Graves) Hill.

Tom was employed at both Sandusky Vinyl and Whirlpool before retiring in 2020 after 48 years of service.

Tom was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Tom enjoyed his dog, Ava, all Cleveland sports teams, surfing the net, playing card games, trips to the casino, music, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his wife, Ellen (Ryan), whom he married Aug. 22, 1987; three daughters, Rebecca Harris of Toledo, Jacquelyn (Thomas) Bortel of Bristol, Tennesseee, and Kimberly Sewell of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Steven (Linda) Hill of Madison, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha Talmadge.

Friends may call 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, until the time of Tom's memorial services at 11 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. At Tom's request, please wear blue jeans and a flannel shirt. Father Jim Brown will officiate. Inurnment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
