Tony Sidoti, 77, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at his home.
He was born May 31, 1945, in Sandusky, the son of the late Mildred (Swain) and Anthony Sidoti. In the 1960s, Tony was an officer with Huron Police Department. He currently was the owner and operator of Sweet Treats and Treasure and is affectionately known as "Sandusky's Candy Man."
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Krueger) Sidoti, who he married April 8, 1989; children, Sheri (Curtis) Lofties of Sandusky, Todd (Rebecca) Sidoti of Bexley, Ohio, and Robert (Sheri) Sidoti of Orange Village, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Silvia Sidoti of Sandusky; brothers, Steven (Betti) Sidoti of Sandusky and David (Sherri) Sidoti of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, until the time of Tony's funeral at 1 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

To Tonys Family I am so sorry to hear of Tonys Passings. Tony was great guy and a person you could count on. When i worked with him on the Huron Police Dept it was reassuring to know I had a dependable Back up. I lost track oh him for a long time and did not know of his passing till now. He was a great guy a good friend and I truly miss him,
