He was a great friend of my dad. Dad was a perkins firefighter. He was a great teacher at Perkins High and drivers ed. He was a great funny serious mentor to all of us students who cared about everybody. Going to miss him. Prayers to the family. From Connie Sternberg Cline

Such a great teacher! He taught me Driver's Ed long ago. We had fun driving around and running errands with him to salvage yards, etc. We all knew we were helping him get stuff done while he was teaching us how to drive on the highways and around town. He always had a great sense of humor and was very patient. RIP Mr. Vartorella, you will be missed and remembered fondly.

A wonderful man who gave of himself to everyone. Left a tremendous legacy in the Berlin Heights Fire Department. Will be missed by all and remembered for his contributions to the community, love of family and building the skills of others. He will be missed by all.
