Virginia Eileen Balduff, known affectionately as "Gin," passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2025, in her home. Born March 5, 1936, at home in Vickery Virginia was a loving, spirited, and resilient woman who left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She married her devoted husband, Leon "Red" Balduff, November 27, 1959, and together they built a rich and fulfilling life in Vickery.

Virginia was a homemaker, but her infectious spirit extended far beyond the walls of her own home. Her resilience could be seen in her dedication to her family and the family farm. Her painting and quilting brought color to the lives of those around her, just as her renowned pies brought sweetness. A member of Ducks Unlimited, Virginia's love for plants, gardening, nature and wildlife was as boundless as her love for her family and community.

Gin is survived by her loving husband, Red; her sons, Kevin (Melisa) Balduff and Patrick (Michele) Balduff; her grandchildren, MaciAnn (Mohammed) Balduff, Courtney (Rob) Gysan, Brent Balduff, and Madalyn Balduff; her great-grandchildren, Chace and Caliann; and her brothers, Clayton Keegan, Gerald (Linda) Keegan, and Bob (Mary) Keegan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerold and Agnes Keegan; and her brother, Howard Keegan.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St, Clyde, followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

In memory of Gin, donations can be made to Sandusky County Humane Society, Back to the Wild, or Stein Hospice.
