Sandusky
Virginia L. "Ginny" (Seitz) Busdicker, 87, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2022, at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.
Ginny was born June 7, 1935, in Sandusky, the daughter of Alden and Agnes (Nicolai) Seitz. She was a graduate of Sandusky High School and graduate of Ohio State University receiving her Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Ginny worked in the Sandusky Public Local Schools as a teacher, speech pathologist, and audiologist for nearly 30 years before retiring. She loved wintering in Florida with her husband, Howard, which they had done for nearly 40 years.
She was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ and Alpha Phi Sandusky Alumni Club.
Ginny is survived by her two stepdaughters, Becky (Tim) Brown and Beth Busdicker, both of Sandusky; stepdaughter-in-law, Heidi Busdicker of Huron; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Philip Seitz of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 41 years, Howard L. "Buzz" Busdicker on Dec. 9, 2021; stepson, Bill "Buzz" Busdicker; and brother and sister-in-law, David K. (Sara Jane) Seitz.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, until the time of Ginny's funeral at 11 a.m. at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Deacon Carolyn Steinfeldt will officiate.
Entombment will be at the Meadow Green Park Mausoleum, Huron.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 905 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870, or Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
