Vivian "Sally" Martin, 87, of Bellevue, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at The Bellevue Hospital following a lengthy illness with cancer.

Sally was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Conneaut, to Lucielle (Likely) and Claude D. Springer.

She was a member of the 1953 graduating class of Bellevue High School.

Sally was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bellevue Congregation. She enjoyed sharing the message of God with everyone she could. While she was an excellent pie maker, loved to work in her garden and yard and care for her two cats. Her greatest joy was her one and only granddaughter, Kelsey!

She married Robert C. Martin on Feb. 1, 1954, in Greenup, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1993.

Sally is survived by daughters, Deborah Martin and Denise Raifsnider, both of Bellevue, and the beloved Kelsey Razo (Matias) of North Carolina; and three siblings, Carole Basil of Bellevue, Michael (Sharon) Springer of Florida, and Stephen Springer of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Marguerite Jacobs, Shirley Maldonado, Bonita Schatzinger, Claudette Dean, and Phyllis Springer; and two brothers, Claude C. Springer and Johnny Springer.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, until the time of Sally's memorial service at 3 p.m. at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The service will be available via Zoom number 813 778 9000, Password 1920.
