Wade Carl Turner, 84, residing in Milan, passed away early Friday morning, June 7, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Wade was born Aug. 2, 1939, in Sandusky, to Clark and Mildred (Wilson) Turner.
Wade graduated from Milan High School in 1957. He was a veteran of U.S. Army who proudly served his country. He was employed as a Meat Grader at J.H. Routh Packing Co. for 41 years. Wade was a member of Firelands Area Runners and lifetime member of the Elks in Sandusky and Edison Athletic Boosters. He enjoyed his pets, physical fitness, watching his children play sports, and visiting his friends and neighbors.
Wade is survived by his sons, Todd (Natalie Watral) Turner and Troy Turner; former wife, Sally Petersen Turner; five grandchildren, Lincoln and Campbell Watral-Turner and Caden, Colin, and Alyssa Turner; and sister, Linda (Ora) Gattshall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Turner; and daughter-in-law, Lynda Minnich.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, until the time of Wade's memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory - Milan Chapel, 1 South Main Street, Milan, Ohio, 44846.
