He was born Oct. 16, 1941, in Columbus, to Primo Bossetti and Grace (Nesser) Bossetti, who both preceded him in death.

Bill graduated from Westerville High School in 1959 and following graduation, entered U.S. Air Force. He proudly served his country from Aug., 1959, to Aug., 1963. Bill was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sandusky. He was a licensed pilot, master gardener, and volunteered with Serving Our Seniors and CASA of Erie County (Court-Appointed Special Advocates). He was a certified first responder and always showed his appreciation for those in public service, especially the police and the military. He enjoyed traveling, visiting over 40 countries. He appreciated the arts, especially the Cleveland Orchestra and art museums. He loved sports, including The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. He was an avid reader, lover of history, and had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
