Bill Logan, 90, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Ohio Veterans Home after a brief illness.

Bill was born December 8, 1934, in Wakeman, to the late Jerome and Marian (Bates) Logan.

Bill graduated from Birmingham High School in 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served his country from 1955 to 1956. He performed maintenance at P.C. Campana for 15 years, worked at Texaco and Sohio on the Ohio Turnpike for 25 years, and owned and operated O.A. Service for 15 years. Bill was a member of St. Mary's Church, AMVETS, and American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family, mowing grass, and taking drives.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey (Lori) Logan and Robert Logan, both of Sandusky; sister, Erma Camp; six grandchildren, Julie (Tyler) Link, Kelli Sharpe, Mallory Logan, Travis Logan, Abbey (Aaron) Brummett, Bryon Logan; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Stogryn) Logan; son, Brian Logan; grandson, Eric Logan; brothers, Theodore, Richard, and Edward Logan; sisters, Dorothy Schieve and Kathleen Davidson; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Logan.

Friends may call from 10-noon Friday, June 13, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home, with Deacon Phil Dinovo presiding. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

Bill was a GREAT GUY!! He helped me in my younger years several times when I was in great need of it. His Son Jeff grew in to a Great Man himself. I only Wish I could have shaken his hand one more time and said, "Thank you Mr. Logan for your kindness to me." May Bill RIP in Heaven, where he certainly went.
