Angelo Palmucci, 92, of Sandusky, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at Commons of Providence, Sandusky.

He was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Republic of San Marino, to Armando and Maria (Sabatinni) Palmucci. Angelo immigrated to the United States following WWII.

Angelo worked as a skilled mason for various contractors prior to joining and eventually retiring from New Departure, Sandusky. He was a member of the former IAB Club and The Communita Di San Marino Di Detroit. Angelo loved to work in his garden, listen to classical music, and travel to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by four sons, Carl (Paula) Palmucci, Mark (Michelle) Palmucci, David (Faith) Palmucci, and Joseph (Suzie) Palmucci; five granddaughters, Ashlie (Greg) Gowitzka, Morgan (Zakk) Sibley, Kathryn (Tyler) Singer, Lauren Palmucci, and Angelina Palmucci; four great-grandsons, Luke and James Gowitzka, Angelo "AJ" and William Singer; sister, Augustina Palmucci; brother, Salvatore (Rosina) Palmucci; and many nieces and nephews.

Angelo was preceded in death by his wife, Lois "Jane" (Tipper) Palmucci; parents; sisters, Pinetta Roncuzzi, and Agatha Duckworth; and brother, Sebastian Palmucci.

Private services will be at Castalia Cemetery at a later date. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
