Ann (Bostater) Hart, 84, a lifelong Huron resident, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center surrounded by her family.

Ann was born July 17, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Newton and Helen Mae (Ernst) Bostater.

She had the hardest and best job of all, being a wife to Roland and mother to her two children.

Through the years she was a member of Child Study Club and served as President of the Junior Women's League. Ann was Director of Huron Dial-A-Drive. She loved to read and served on Huron Library Board. Ann was a passionate quilter and knitter and made many blankets for cancer patients.

Ann is survived by her husband, Roland Hart, whom she married July 11, 1959, at Huron Methodist Church; children, Kimberly (John) Wyatt of Florida and Todd (Betty) Hart of Huron; grandchildren, A.J (Addie), Courtney, Elijah, and Gabrielle Hart, and John (Carrie) Wyatt III; great-granddaughters, Rosemary Hart and Hannah and Rana Wyatt; brother, Norman (Mari) Bostater of Huron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private family celebration of Ann's life will be conducted later in the spring. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
