Austin James Rupp, 32, residing in Huron, passed away Sunday evening, February 8, 2026, at Stein Hospice after a lengthy illness.

Austin was born June 2, 1993, in Sandusky, to Donald J. and Tracy (Coffman) Rupp.

Austin graduated from Huron High School in 2011. His family was his number one priority. They lovingly cared for him physically, and in return, he cared for them emotionally and mentally, showing them what it truly meant to live. Austin was an avid Cleveland sports fan and a loving, genuine soul. He carried himself with grace and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a true fighter, showing unwavering strength and courage. His sense of humor was unmatched, and he faced life without complaint. While pain was part of his journey, it never defined him; it only highlighted his strength and spirit.

In addition to his parents, Austin is survived by his two brothers, Aaron and Alec Rupp; grandmother, Sharon Simmons; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Austin is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew "Hobo" Rupp, in 2018; paternal grandparents, Donald P. and Sandra Rupp; his maternal grandparents, Deanne and Gale Dauch; and maternal grandfather, Ronald Coffman.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Jed Mayle officiating.
