Betty Jane (Burnworth) Christian, 76, of Berlin Heights, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after an illness.

She was born September 14, 1948, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, to Calvin and Hazel (Burnsworth) Burnworth.

Betty graduated from Turkeyfoot Valley High School. She married her husband, Larry and they had two daughters. She was employed as an office manager at FTMC Family Medicine, Wakeman for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband, Larry, whom she married in February of 1968. She is also survived by her daughter, Barbara Booker; sisters, Patricia Daniels, Ethel Morrison, Bonnie Dodson, Viola Whipkey; brothers, Ricky (Brenda) Burnworth, Ronnie (Tammy) Burnworth; grandsons, Austin (Kyley) Maschari, Holden Maschari, Nyree Booker; granddaughters, Kendra Booker, Karly Booker; great-granddaughter, Zayley Maschari; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Maschari; sisters, Tammy (John) Wagner, Cindy Festog, Rosetta Burnworth; brothers, Calvin Eugene Burnworth and Wilbur Burnworth.

Betty's ashes will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery at a later date, followed by a celebration of life in her honor.

Those wishing to contribute to Betty 's memory may do so to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
