Bradley "Brad" J. Gerold, 64, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 26, 2024.
He was born September 9, 1960 in Sandusky to John P. and Delores M. (Oates) Gerold.
Brad attended Perkins Schools and graduated from Sandusky High School. He was a member of the Sandusky V.F.W and Huron Eagles. He was president and owner of H.F. Gerold Construction Co. until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie on his boat with his friends, vacationing in Jamaica and Florida with his family, and taking fans to Browns games on his Browns Backers bus, win or lose!
Brad is survived by his son, Derek Gerold, of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Dawn (John) Henderson; brother, Thomas (Karen) Gerold; stepmother, Deborah Gerold; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and his beloved dog, Millie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elma and Harold Gerold and Vera and Pearl Oates.
Brad never knew a stranger, was truly one-of-a-kind, and lived life to the fullest!
A gathering and celebration of life will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1058 Event Center, 1058 Cleveland Rd., Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brad's memory may be made to one's favored charity. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
