Charles "Webb" Webster Marshall, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday evening, Aug. 8, 2022, at Providence Care Center.

Webb was born Oct. 5, 1936, in Wise County, Virginia, to the late James and Mable (Cassidy) Marshall.

Webb was as a tow motor operator at West Vaco and retired in 1984 after over 20 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked at Northern & Southern Railroad. Webb was a member of the Church of God. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing tennis, watching Cleveland sports, enjoying the lake, and spending time with his family.

Webb is survived by his wife, Betty A. (Sims) Marshall; daughters, Theresa L. Schlacter and Sherri A. Marshall, both of Sandusky; brothers, Curtis (Peggy), Burt, and Junior Marshall, all of North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Webb's funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Harvey Studer will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
