I always saw her as a little sister that always had me laughing about something, especially about work. Our last conversation was about encouragement for the both of us and I said, I got you, I will always be here when you need to talk about anything. She said, "I appreciate you and thank you for checking on me." I´m so sad that I can´t check on you, but I know you´re checking on all of us with a smile. Sending my heartfelt sympathy to all of Chelsea's loved ones. Her Emory team adored her and will miss her greatly. I had the pleasure of working with her for the past seven years, and I simply cannot say enough good things about her. Chelsea was thoughtful, intelligent, and an absolute joy to work with. We could always count on her to volunteer whenever needed, bringing her "can do" attitude and willingness to help in any way she could.

Her sweet spirit showed through daily in many ways, including sending messages and making calls to me when I faced trials of my own. Chelsea's beautiful soul was taken from us far too soon, and she will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, beautiful Chelsea.

Our prayers, love, and deepest condolences go out to Chelsea's parents, her brother Dezmond, and their entire family during this incredibly difficult time. Baby girl, as I often called you, our hearts are shattered into a million pieces here at EMORY. The IAM Security team is missing you dearly. I will miss our conversations and answering the phone to hear Chelsea's cheerful voice saying, "Mrs. V, I got a question!" with a laugh. She was always willing to help in any way possible, always saying, "Yes, I will do it. "From the first day I met her and Antonio at Dekalb, it was clear they were inseparable, working together seamlessly to get the job done. I don't know if I have any more tears left to cry, but I miss you, baby girl. Our last conversation was about the gift we sent and you loved it snuggling up in your soft blanket...May you all find comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus... Chelsea had the biggest heart and always made you laugh! You are missed

I worked in the same department and on the same team as Chelsea here at Emory Healthcare, and wanted to let share how I enjoyed our daily interactions. I let her know often over the years how cool, smart and fun I thought she was and I truly meant every word. She was so humble and used to laugh at my jokes, which kept things fun, light and positive. I am so thankful for Chelsea and miss her so. I know the angels are blessing her, and showering her family and loved ones with love.
