Christine Marie (Roeser) Johnson, passed away unexpectedly from complications of a kidney transplant on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in OSU Medical Center with her family by her side. Chris was born on April 1, 1958 in Sandusky, Ohio to Donald and Mary (Nelson) Roeser. She graduated from Perkins High School in 1977. She married Robin (Rob) Johnson on November 17, 1979. Chris loved her animals and over the years fostered Cocker Spaniels for the Columbus Cocker Rescue. She always wanted to work with animals and she loved helping dogs in the rescue. She also enjoyed doing crafts. She spent her adult life working in the foodservice industry. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, her sisters Cathy (Dave) Rogers, Brenda Turner and her brother Mark (Marlene) Roeser and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and brother-in-law Jay Turner. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Tiff Funeral Home - Plain City/Dublin Chapel, 9720 SR 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064, where Christine's funeral will follow at 4 p.m. A future celebration of life will take place in Sandusky.
