Corinne M. (Thurston) Dyer Bell, 92, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born March 4, 1932, to parents Herbert and Ileda Thurston and was a member of Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, Sandusky.

Corinne worked numerous jobs over her lifetime, she started her career at Philco when she was 18 years old and then went to work for Norwalk Furniture for 20 plus years and The Radisson Hotel for over 10 years. Corinne waitressed at several local restaurants, including Cameo Pizza, and she owned a nursing home in Sandusky for several years. She enjoyed making ceramics, embroidering, cross-stitching, and she loved to go to YMCA to go swimming. Corinne was a member of The American Legion and The 800 Club.

She is survived by five daughters, Anna Lee Russell, Theresa (Alvin) McCoy, Francis Baldwin, Eleanor (Mark) Stults, and Cynthia (Phil) Chorney; five sons, William (Kathy) Dyer, John (Pat) Dyer, Dan (Martha) Dyer, Timothy (Kerry) Dyer, and Scott (Tobias) Dyer; step-daughter, Yevette; stepson, Bart Bell; 35 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Corinne was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Dyer; second husband, William Bell; parents; siblings, Elmer, Joe, Jay, George, Irene Blake, and Eleanor Thurston.

Visitation for friends will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Rd. Sandusky, until time of services at 12 p.m. Pastors David Flack and Keith Martinez will officiate. Entombment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
