Daniel J. Griffin, age 67, long time resident of Bellevue, passed away Sunday Morning, June 26, 2022, at Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue, with his loving wife Cindy, by his side.
He was born November 2, 1954, in Chelsea, MA, and moved to Ohio when he was in high school. Dan worked most his life as a carpenter and took great pride in his work. His family was very important to him, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping, cooking, bon fires, watching movies, and listening to music. Dan will be missed, but not forgotten by many that loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Roeser) Griffin; daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Mayo; granddaughters, Isabella and Addison Mayo; sisters, Laurel (Michael) Caprio and Michelle (Joseph) Montagna; brother, Robin Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Genevieve DeMaio and Daniel D. Griffin; and beloved brother, George Homack.
Friends may call Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 5 PM until time of memorial service at 6 PM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Bardshar Rd., Sandusky. Pastor Catherine Schibler will officiate. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
