Darlene J. Brightman Snyder, 71, of Port Clinton, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.
She was born April 15, 1952, in Sandusky, to Richard and Dorothy (Mesenburg) Brightman. She was a 1970 graduate of Margaretta High School. Darlene married Terry Snyder in 1980. Darlene started her career as a hair stylist before selling home interiors and working at Walmart. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, camping, and being with her grandchildren.
Darlene's survivors include her husband, Terry of Port Clinton; daughter, Melissa (Philip) Thatcher of St. Petersburg, Florida; son, Mark (Michelle) Snyder of Tiffin; grandchildren, Samantha, Kayla, Jorden, Xavier, Lily, Deklin, and Iris; great-grandchild, Dayana; sister, Diane Edwards, and half-brother, Dennis Wenzke.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Ronald and Donald Brightman.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Darlene's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
