Sandusky
Doris Jean Brennan, 88, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Commons of Providence Memory Care.
She was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Fremont, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1953.
Doris was employed as a teacher's aide for the Perkins School District at Meadowlawn School.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sandusky, Sandusky Eagles, AAPSE, Bay Area Friends of Abused Children, Red Hats Society, and Grandmother's Club.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Allen Brennan Jr., Thomas Harold (Julia) Brennan, Jon Arthur (Laurie) Brennan, and Scott Edward (Carole) Brennan; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mac Nott, Dale Nott, and Hugh Nott; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. "Buzz" Brennan Sr.; parents, Thomas and Bertha (Taylor) Klein; biological father, Charles Nott; sisters, Dea Martin, Jeannette Bozsoki, and Naomi Carver; and brother, Charlie Nott.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, until the time of Doris' funeral at 12 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Michael Conklin will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
Contributions may be made to Bay Area Friends of Abused Children, 247 Columbus Ave., Unit 319, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
