Glenn Lee Collins Sr., 72, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic-Fairview Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born May 7, 1952, in Sandusky, to Robert and Catherine (Madison) Collins. Glenn graduated from Sandusky High School in 1972. He moved to Lorain and dedicated many years of service to Ford Motor Company before retiring. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.
Glenn loved all Cleveland sports, especially his Cleveland Browns. He loved westerns, WWE wrestling, and an occasional episode of The Young and The Restless.
He is survived by his son, Glenn Collins Jr.; daughter-in-law, Enedelia Collins; daughters, Landia Collins and Tamara Collins; grandchildren, Arius Collins, Landon Martin, and Imari Collins; brother, Gregory (Carolyn) Collins; sister, Gloria (Robert) Garr; sister-in-law, Bonnye Collins; and numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beautiful beloved wife, Tresa Ilene (Hale) Collins; parents, Robert and Catherine; and siblings, Mardell Woods, Patricia Jones, and Tony, Michael, and Curtis Collins.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, until the time of Glenn's funeral at 12 p.m. at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center, 6075 Middle Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio, 44053. Following the service, Glenn will be laid to rest at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. A celebration gathering will take place at the funeral home after the burial.
Glenn's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
