Harold White, 89, of Castalia, passed away Saturday afternoon, Nov. 5, 2022, at his residence.
He was born June 21, 1933, in Louisa, Kentucky, and proudly served in U.S. Army. Harold was a member of Wayside Temple, where he was the minister of the church for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by three sons, Tim (Deb) White, Mark (Marie) White, and Steve White; four grandchildren, Danny, Ashlee, Caleb, and James; great-granddaughter, Lily; sister, Doris Ballard; brothers, Hubert, Alonzo, Ralph, and Gene White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllys (Fannin) White; parents, Clarence and Darthula (Tackett) White; daughter, Phyllys Ann; son, Harold David; granddaughter, Lisa Marie; and sister, Charlene Tufono.
Friends may call 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia. Harold's services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate and burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery.

I was led to and blessed to have met Mr. Harold White about three years ago when I first visited Wayside Temple.
After a service one Sunday he graced me by staying afterwards and sharing his life´s story with me.
Amazing.
A true Godly inspiration for everyone.
I always looked forward to watching Harold, Pastor Rusty and Neil on tv at 8pm, week days.
As much as he and his gravely voice which was filled with the gospel knowledge will be physically missed here, he will remain in my heart forever.
