Helen (Adkins) Manus, 83, of Clyde, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 31, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 7, 1940, in Prudent, Tennessee, and retired from Margaretta Schools as a school bus driver after many years. She was a member of Compass Church of God, Castalia, and loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Johnson Manus; son, Charles (Robin) Manus; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barb Wright; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, JB Manus; son, James Manus; parents, Henry Adkins and Ethel Jackson; brothers, Roy and Donald Adkins; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at Bellevue Assembly Church, 770 Kilbourne St., Bellevue. Helen's service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the church with Pastor Ben Patrick officiating. Burial will be at Parkhurst Cemetery.
Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, Ohio, 44824.
