James H. Didion, 86, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at The Willows of Bellevue. He was born May 26, 1936, in Bellevue, son of the late Sylvester and Estelle (Missler) Didion.

James was devoted to and loved his family and grandchildren. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and member of Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside. He worked as a meat cutter and also at Firelands Federal Credit Union.

James is survived by his two daughters, Kelley (David H.) Ziegler of Bellevue and Dana (Dr. David) Riemann of Huron; five grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Ziegler, Jessica Ziegler, Cody (Nicki) Ziegler, Kaitlin (Nick) Schwerer, and Kyle Riemann; five great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Abram, and Finley Schwerer and Charlie and Nora Ziegler; and four brothers, Richard, Thomas, Frank and David Didion.

James is preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra (Phillips) Didion, whom he married Nov. 20, 1954, in Adrian, Michigan; second wife, Pamela (Orwig) Didion, whom he married July 10, 2000; five brothers, Robert, Donald, Michael, Gerald and Ronald Didion; three sisters, Dorothy McKenzie, Betty Strohm, and Marguret Walker.

Friends will be received 5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
