Jane Ellen (Traut) Warren, 74, of Huron, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024.

Jane was born June 20, 1950, in Sandusky to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Swint) Traut. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron, and a Sandusky St. Mary's graduate.

Jane retired from Sandusky Walmart, where she was part of the inaugural staff as the sales coordinator in the jewelry department. She was highly thought of by her co-workers and customers alike. Early in life, Jane honed her culinary skills at Holmes Restaurant and was an assistant manager at Richard's Restaurant in Huron. She also worked at Faroh's Chocolate Store. Jane's passions were her flower garden and going to craft shows. She had a lifelong place in her heart for her pet cats.

She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Larry) Faber and Sandra Hamilton; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Traut and Brad Traut; nieces and nephews, Christy Lutz, Julie Simmons, Amy Faber, Tad Faber, Nick Traut, Alex Traut, Addison Traut and Andrew (AJ) Hamilton; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Chip Toy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Anthony (Tony) Traut.

Services will be private.
