Judy Lucal, 79, residing in Monroeville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family.

Judy was born March 15, 1944, in Sandusky, a twin daughter of Raymond and Marceda Krawetzki.

She was a bank teller until it was time to raise her family. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was an amazing cook and was always there for her family. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books, and annually making Christmas cookies with her children and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband, Paul Lucal; daughter, Michele (Tim) Wojnar of Milan; son, Todd Lucal of Columbus; two grandchildren, Micaela Wojnar and Nicholas Wojnar; brother, Robert (Jerelene) Krawetzki of Berlin Heights; and sister, Karen (Gary) Krinn of Newark, Ohio.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister, Jean Seeholzer.

Visitation for friends will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, until the time of Judy's funeral at 10:30 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Eric Lapata presiding. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery.

Judy's family would like to especially thank Erie County Sheriff's Office, North Central EMS, Groton Township Volunteer Fire Dept., Oxford Township Volunteer Fire Dept., and ICU staff at Firelands Regional Medical Center for their prompt response and care.
