Sandusky
Lois "Jane" Palmucci, 84, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 23, 2023, at Commons of Providence, Sandusky.
She was born April 22, 1939, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Sandusky High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite activity was watching her grandchildren. Jane was a member of IAB Auxiliary Club and enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Angelo Palmucci; four sons, Carl (Paula) Palmucci, Mark (Michelle) Palmucci, David (Faith) Palmucci, and Joseph (Suzie) Palmucci; five granddaughters, Ashlie (Greg) Gowitzka, Morgan (Zakk) Sibley, Kathryn (Tyler) Singer, Lauren Palmucci, and Angelina Palmucci; and four great-grandsons, Luke and James Gowitzka, Angelo "AJ," and Will Singer.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lois (Craven) Tipper; brother, William Tipper; and sisters, Lillian "Ruth" Maines and twin sister in infancy.
A private service will be at Castalia Cemetery at a later date.
Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
