Lori L. King, 58, of Milan, passed away early Wednesday morning, Aug. 16, 2023, at home surrounded in love.
She was born Aug. 2, 1965, in Fremont, the daughter of Faye (Byers) and James Lee King. She married Barbara Ann Fox on July 7, 2016. Lori graduated from Fremont Ross High School and was employed as a heavy equipment operator. She was a loyal Ohio State University football fan.
Lori is survived by her spouse, Barbara Ann Fox King; stepson, Hayden Fox of Milan; mother, Faye King of Fremont; sister, LeeAnn (Shane) Walker of Elkin, North Carolina; brothers, James (Tina) King of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and Jay King of Fremont; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James King.
There will be a gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of Lori from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Groff Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 S. Main Street, Milan, Ohio, 44846.

One my fondest and most recent memories of my Sister-in-law Lori was a night out with her and Barb We went to the Kaleva Tavern a place she didn't care for much but went anyway because that's how much she loved my sister and our family We spent the night laughing at the bar getting absolutely toasted and just having fun We ended our night in Barbs Cadillac two tracking all over Manistee county with a friend of a barbs from high school. I'll miss the belly laughs we shared and the way you looked at and smiled at my sister I love you forever I hope you and Uncle Dennis are cutting it up in Heaven.

Barb and family. I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Lori. I still will not forget when you came to my business and I met you both and wanted me to alter your wedding clothing. I only wish you could have shared many more wonderful years together. May the following verse bring comfort during this difficult time. What must it be to step on shore and find it-HEAVEN;
To take hold of a hand and find it-GOD´S HAND;
To breathe new air and find it-CELESTIAL AIR;
To feel invigorated, and find it-IMMORTALITY;
To sail from the care and turmoil of earth
To one unbroken calm;
