Lulla B. "Lou" Knerr, 76, of Sandusky, went home Sunday, February 22, 2026, from Firelands Health, after a brief illness.
She was born May 8, 1949, in Arrington, to the late Columbus And Enos (Collins) Gillman.
Lou worked various jobs, including Cedar Point, Arthur's Inc., and Sandusky Foodmart.
Her life was all about family, and she lived for her great-grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris (Keith) Knerr; son-in-law, Paul Herriott; grandkids, Brittney Knerr, Diana Knerr, Ashley (Dorian) Taylor, David (Kira) Taylor Sr., Joseph (Kayley) Herriott, Chester Taylor, Scott Herriott, and Keisha Knerr; great-grandkids, Javezz, Jazia, Jazlean, Jasper, Elijah, Dennarius, Kashmeir, Kazmeir, Jordan, Isiah, Shania, Qasean, Jada, Braxton, Aubrianna, Kelly Jo, Daivd, Kailee, Jaylin, Katlyn, DeAnna, Kaiden, Brantlee, Gracelynn, and Brielle; sister, Doris Garton; and brothers, Tom, Denny and Charles Gillman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Knerr Sr.; son, Henry Knerr Jr.; daughter, Vickie Herriott; grandson, Allan Knerr; granddaughter, Tina Knerr; great-granddaughter, Tionna Knerr; sisters, Juanita, Della, Gladys and Wanda; and brothers, Rick and Bobby.
Friends may call from 12-6 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
