Castalia

Margaret "Maggie" Loroff, 96, of Castalia, passed away Sunday afternoon, Nov. 26, 2023, after a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 20, 1927, in Castalia, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1945. Maggie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by 16 nieces and nephews, Anita Leczo Csinscac, Mary Lu Endle Stone, Barbara Endle Himes, Marcia Braun Juengel, Lamont Braun Jr., Cynthia Braun Franklin, Roger Braun, Julie Braun Cottle, Elizabeth Braun, Bill Babisak, Ann Babisak, Janet Babisak, Dennis Loroff, Tom Loroff, Rich Loroff, and Dan Loroff; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Loroff; parents, James and Maria (Lencses) Babicsak; three sisters, Clara Leczo, Edith Endle, and Elsie Braun; and four brothers, James Babicsak, Julius Babicsak, Alex Babicsak, and Joseph Babicsak.

Maggie's graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at Castalia Cemetery. Pastor John Paputza will officiate.

Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia, Ohio, 44824, Congregational U.C.C., 205 Main St., Castalia, or one's favorite charity.
