Nancy Miller, 86, residing in Castalia, passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Nancy was born November 17, 1939, in Sandusky, to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Osteimer) Wendt.

Nancy dedicated many years of her career to Western and Southern and Sears. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church. In her free time, Nancy found joy in knitting, collecting beautiful pieces of colored glass, and playing cards, especially pinochle. She also had a deep love for books and flowers, appreciating the simple beauty they brought to her life.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Miller. She is also survived by her sons, Lincoln Hamilton, Jay (Marklyn) Hamilton and Darryl (Amy) Hamilton; grandchildren, Corey Hamilton, Erica Hamilton, Nicholas Hamilton and Owen Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her children, Lorraine Hamilton and Richard Hamilton; grandson, Joshua Munoz; grandchild, Brian; brother, James Wendt; and daughter-in-law, Deanna Hamilton.

A Church Service will be available for family and friends, at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, at First Christian Church, 2410 Hayes Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
