Patricia Reed (nee Green), 84, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 11, 1940, in Toledo. Patricia was a cherished resident of Vermilion for the past 62 years, having moved from Sandusky.
Patricia dedicated 20 years to Vermilion Schools, working in the cafeteria until her retirement in 1990. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Vermilion and treasured the time spent with her family and friends, particularly her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Dana) Reed of Carlsbad, California, Libby Beemer of Swanton, and Chad Reed of Avon; beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Jason, Nicholas, McKenna, and Max; and brother, Donald Green of Sandusky.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl "Ozzie" Reed Jr.; parents, Donald J. and Margaret (nee McLaughlin) Green; and sisters, Mary Ann Sloan, Margie Kuns, and Cathy Lamb.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, until the time of prayer service at 11 a.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Parish, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion, Ohio, 44089. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
