Stephanie Miller Obituary

Stephanie Ann Miller

Jul 3, 1969 - Jun 18, 2022

Sandusky

Stephanie Ann Miller, 52, of Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Stephanie was born on July 3, 1969 in Sandusky, OH to Cathy Miller.

She was a 1988 graduate of Sandusky High School and studied briefly at BGSU before entering a career at Ford Motor Company and then, later, at Sandusky City Schools. She was known around Sandusky for her love of baking, always offering to bake cookies, cakes, and other desserts for anyone who asked.

Stephanie loved music, especially the music made by her favorite artist, Prince. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, they were her entire world. You could often catch her sipping an ice-cold Coca Cola and enjoying the breeze on her porch on W. Monroe St. Her house was a staple for everyone in her family, and all of her children's friends, over the years. Every time the weather would break in the Spring above 60 degrees you could count on her to ask if anyone wanted to have a cook-out.

Over the years, she participated in many political organizations and parties. She was an active member in the Erie County Democratic Party and could always be seen telling people to vote. She was a fierce supporter of former President Barack Obama, even meeting him at his ice cream social in Sandusky in 2012.

She is survived by her mother, Cathy A. Miller of Sandusky; three children, son, Thomas (Tasha) T. Cromer of Sandusky, daughters, Brittany C. Miller of Sandusky and Ariel L. Cromer of Atlanta, GA; son-in-law, Ian Parris of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Jayden D. Blockton of Sandusky and Nova L. Parris of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Renee A. Boes (Nick) of Fremont, Lori E. Stamm (Bob Weaver) of Sandusky, Christina J. Stamm of Sandusky, Jennifer L. Kaufmann of Bellevue and Ashley M. Miller (Dustin Puckett) of Port Clinton; nieces, Tylar (Luis) E. Salas of Chicago, Naleah and Kailynn Khiasoth of Sandusky, Kaitlyn M. Jenkins of Sandusky, Alyssa and Kyliee Kaufmann of Bellevue and Olivia and Sophia Boes of Fremont; nephews, Kenniston and Donovan Hill of Sandusky, Austin Hines of Sandusky, Trenton Yanushewski of Monroeville, Collin Jenkins of Indianapolis, Caleb Jenkins of Sandusky and Aidan Puckett of Port Clinton; special sisters, Tracy Strong of Norwalk, Andrea Walker of Sandusky and special daughters, Dominique Gillard, Diana Knerr, Chealsea Tucker of Sandusky.

She was preceded in death by her children's father, Thomas T. Cromer; grandmother, Dorothy A. Miller and her grandfather, Earl C. Miller; sister, Kelly Sue Hines, and husband, Elmer J. Turner.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Father's Heart Family Church, 2211 Mills St., Sandusky, OH 44870. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
