Stephen F. "Steve" Kenniston, 70, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 6, 2025, in Columbus.

He was born August 1, 1955, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, to the late George and Helen (Wildes) Kenniston. When he was young, Steve was a Boy Scout and became an Eagle Scout. He was a 1973 graduate of Revere High School in Richfield. He spent most of his life in Valley City, where he was a firefighter, EMT, and Bath Township Police Department cadet.

He moved to Bellevue approximately 20 years ago. He worked for Capitol Aluminum and Glass in Bellevue for 17 years. Prior to that, he worked for Modern Builders in Norwalk, where he met his wife, Kellie. Steve loved Lake Erie and enjoyed boating and fishing. He docked his boat at Shrock's Marina, where he was known as "Mayor of the Marina". He enjoyed his trips to Hidden Beach Bar. Steve was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years the former, Kellie Orshoski, whom he married on Oahu, Hawaii; two daughters, Kristine (Jon) Tetlak of Naples, Florida and Anne Kenniston of Philadelphia, Penns-ylvania; three stepsons, Bryon (Samantha) Renwand of Toledo, Anthony (Melinda) Renwand and Casey (Samantha) Renwand, both of Bellevue; ten grandchildren, Payton, Corbin, Quinn, Bryson, Braxton, Lillian, Preston, Parker, Paisley, and Lyla; one sister, Betsy (Claire) Kenniston of Sylvania; three sisters-in-law, Dorene Paul of Sandusky, Robin (Jim) Christman of Norwalk, and Cindy Goins of Sandusky; two brothers-in-law, Paul (Tevon) Orshoski of Sandusky and Todd (Linda) Orshoski of Cartersville, Georgia; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Matthew "Matt O" Orshoski.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at First Church of Bellevue, 901 Northwest Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811, with Pastor Justin Jump officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Church of Bellevue.

Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, has been entrusted with arrangements.
