I'll remember Mr. Marvicsin with great fondness. I had the honor of knowing him for nearly 40 years. I admired his faith and his strong convictions. I am confident that we'll meet again one day, I pray God's peace to the entire family.

It was truly an honor to have Steve as a part of our "extended family" for last 18 years! He was a man who dealt with so much over the years and yet, we never heard him complain! My family learned so much from him. He was kind, caring, loving, loyal, honest, and also a man who could fix anything! We will miss him but now is a time to celebrate his 98 years on this earth and to celebrate he is now in the presence of our Lord.
So thankful for memories he left behind.

My Great Uncle Steve was truly a very special man. Any opportunity to visit with him, spend time out with him, and even spend a day at the lake fishing, was always a life enriching event. Steve was born into troubled times, struggled along with his family to make ends meet, and immediately started his adult life in a world war. Throughout all of these hardships, he remained positive, steadfast, unwavering, and loyal to himself, his family, and those in his life.
I am a better person for having known him. Steve was very close to my grandmother, his older sister. Both of them together would light up a room. They would tell amazing stories that seemed so foreign to those of us born later. They sacrificed so much for each other, and it just seemed like the right thing to do. They both served our nation when it needed them most, and we are truly grateful. The Marvicsin family was full of siblings who were great role models, great family members, and great Americans.
It is my prayer that Steve is now with his beloved family, his wife, and his two sons. He is seeing long lost friends, and most importantly seeing his Lord and Savior.
Until we join you in Glory Uncle Steve...
