Mr Kraus was my 8th grade choir director at Jackson Jr High. He was a very nice man and an excellent music teacher. We learned a variety of music, which included a few Negro Spiritual songs, one of which I sang to my children when I put them to bed. And I now sing to my grandchildren at bedtime.
Bless you Mr Kraus. Rest in peace.

I am so appreciative for Mr. Kraus. When I was in the 8th Grade. He had placed me in the 8th Grade Chorus. I have a Speech Impediment due to a Birth defect in 1968. That was the year I got to participate in the Sandusky City School, May Festival. It allowed me to fulfill one of my dreams. Thank you! Mr. Kraus.

Mr. Kraus was so influential in promoting music in our community. Our family so enjoyed going to the Choral Society performances to watch my mother (Jeanette A. Albert) perform under his direction. Our condolences to his family.

Choir was my favorite part of HS and Mr Kraus was a big reason why. Sending his family and friends my love; he mattered to so many students like me.
